New electronic patient record system
Posted on 16 Apr 2019
The practice will be installing a new electronic patient record system called SYSTEM 1 on the 9th May 2019.
The new system will bring substantial benefits for both patients and staff and although it is likely to cause some disruption 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after please be patient with us.
This change will also unfortunately mean that patients currently registered for patient access will need to re-register with SYSTMOnline after 15th May.
We will be turning off patient access from 25th April which means you will be unable to book appointments and request prescriptions online. You will still be able to book appointments over the phone or in person and request prescriptions in writing or using your repeat prescription request slip.
From 1st May we will be unable to register new patients or do electronic prescriptions until after 13th May. Your medication will still be issued in paper format and we ask that you put your prescription requests in plenty of time.
Test results will take longer to process during this period so please bear with us.
We will only be offering book on day appointments between 3rd May-17th May. If you want to pre-book an appointment after 17th May please contact us after the 13th May.
