Host Support Session

Offering a Ukrainian guest or family a place to stay in your home is such a generous commitment but it may come with some complex challenges. Castleman Healthcare is offering the opportunity to attend a free monthly host support session.

We are offering the hosts a safe space in a relaxed setting, where they can take time to reflect. It will be a chance to talk about issues or concerns as well as spend time and share experiences with other host who are in similar position. In these group sessions we will explore emotional resilience, setting boundaries and how to identify signs of trauma in others and offer signposting advice.

Each session open to patients will be limited to 12 participants and will last 90 minutes with refreshments provided. We will meet monthly at either St Marys Church, Ferndown or the Broadstone Methodist Church, with various times available. We have added an additional online option too.
