October Wellness Event

The Orchid House Surgery PPG is holding a Wellness Event to showcase the wide range of health services, support organisations, and community groups available to patients of the surgery and the wider Ferndown community.

We would be delighted to invite your organisation to exhibit at this free event.

Event Details

Date: Saturday, 10 October

Time: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Venue: Ferndown Day Centre and The Barrington Centre Café

This year, the Surgery’s annual COVID-19 and Flu Vaccination Clinic will also be taking place on the same day.

The Barrington Café will be open from 9:00 am, serving refreshments. Throughout the day there will also be demonstrations and presentations taking place in the Barrington alongside the exhibition stands.

The event will bring together a variety of health professionals, local support organisations, and community groups. Visitors will also be able to access advice on topics such as using the NHS App and staying safe from scams. In addition, there will be activities for all ages, including arts and crafts, children’s activities, exercise and rehabilitation sessions, and other well-being initiatives.
