Certain minor surgical procedures, such as joint injections and cryotherapy, can be performed by the doctors on the premises. This may be more convenient for you and may save considerable time waiting for hospital treatment.

The NHS provides certain services which GPs offer and for which we are paid to offer by the NHS. However, there are many things which patients request from GPs which are not covered by this. Visit our Non-NHS services page to learn more.

Bone, Joint, or Muscle Problems (Physiotherapy)
If you have a new or ongoing injury, you can refer yourself to the Dorset Musculoskeletal (MSK) Service. They provide physiotherapy and advice for hospitals in Wimborne and St Leonards.

Pregnancy (Maternity)
As soon as you find out you are pregnant, you can book your care directly with the local midwifery team. You do not need to see a GP first.
