Our reception desk and phone lines are available on weekdays, except on public holidays. All consultations are by appointment only.

Standard Opening Times

Please note: Phone lines are closed for lunch between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm daily, but our reception desk remains open.

When We Are Closed

The surgery is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. We also close periodically for staff training. If you require urgent medical assistance when we are closed, please call 111 or visit 111.nhs.uk online.

 GP Availability

Our doctors typically consult on the following days. Please note that GPs work a rotating “Duty Day” for emergencies, so they may not always be available for routine appointments on these specific days.

• Dr M Every: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
• Dr F Graña: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
• Dr P Balachandran: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• Dr S Martindale: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday

 Extended Access Appointments

We offer early morning and evening appointments for patients who cannot attend during standard hours due to work, education, or caregiving commitments.

• Mornings: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am to 8:00 am
• Evenings: Monday to Friday, 6:35 pm to 7:00 pm

Important Access Information:

During these extended hours (7:00 am to 8:00 am and 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm), the main reception and phone lines are closed. You cannot collect prescriptions or request results at these times.

How to enter: For extended-hour appointments, follow the path around the left side of the building to the rear door and ring the bell.

Alternative Ways to See a GP

If you need an appointment outside of our standard hours, we provide several additional options:

• Online Advice: Use the NHS App or our SystmConnect Online GP consultation service to get help with a new or existing health problem from our GPs.
• Local Hubs: Evening and weekend appointments are available at Poole or Wimborne Hospital. Please ask our reception team to book one for you.
• Livi (Video Consultations): We partner with Livi to offer video appointments on your phone or tablet, 7 days a week. Ask a receptionist to book this for you.
